Meet the Local Governing Board

James Moore - Chair of Governors

James started out as a parent governor back in 2008 and became Chair of Governors soon after in 2010, throughout this length of voluntary service acting to provide leadership support and strategic direction within the school community, working with the Senior leadership team to ensure all pupils have the opportunity to reach their full potential, and all staff are provided with the resources to ensure Baginton Fields continues to offer a safe and welcoming environment and learning experiences to our school community.

James has worked in commercial business functions across a wide range of engineering and high technology industries including Automotive, Rail and Aerospace which allows his experience in commercial finance and business strategy to be shared with the BFA SLT & Governing Body.

The Governing body team draws experienced professionals spanning education, local community government, children’s healthcare, business, some of whom are parents and James says this provides a bench strength of wide experience and diversity that can challenge the SLT to continually strive for excellence.
